The hotel is situated by the Citara bay and dominates the particular beach of Cava dell'Isola in Forio. Venere Citarea, whose votive statue was found, considered this place sacred and the bay of Citara was famous for the properties of its sea and thermal waters: citara, in fact, means fecundating water and indeed the richness and variety of volcanic action give baths exceptional beneficial properties.
